Maybe you are like Me? Looking for a hairstyle that will simply hold up the humidity of a heat wave! What can we do to our hair that will keep us looking like we did wake up with INTENTION! That's a lot to ask for in what seems to be an endless heatwave!
I thought this was a cute style that would hold up to the challenge. A style that can move from a Wash N' Go into an updated mohawk. Splitting or parting the hair into three or four ear to ear part, banding each section and allowing the balance of the hair to be free! You can also, for a more conservative style, simply make into smooth chignon or bantu knots.
This style is easily accented with crystal, fabric, or ties to give the style a different daily look. I would wrap the edges at night. I would just wrap the edges and leave the rest of it loose and then place a bonnet over the style.
This is another style that can stand up to the humidity of the heat wave! An update on a cornrow braided style. Easy to do, make parts and section with a rubberband and then start from the first section and braid into additional added braiding hair and make a neat chignon or twisted knot at back.
This too is an easy style to sleep on! Simply wrap edges and add a scarf or bottom to keep your tresses covered!
Finally, here is another style that can stand up to the humidity of an heatwave! Section your hair in neat parts and use bands to hold the hair in each section. Taking particular care of keeping a neat hair line. To each secured section you will take your favorite braiding hair to make your bantu knots.
Now, you can twist the hair, 3-strand braid the hair, or simply go with a smooth bantu knot. This style is easily dressed up, great for work, or Church event!
