Kimmaytube Leave-in Recipe 2 Tbsp - Aloe Vera Juice / Gel (Lily of the Valley) 2 Tbsp - Leave-in Conditioner (Knot Today or Giovanni) 2 Tsp - Jojoba Oil (or Grapeseed Oil) 2 Tsp - Castor Oil Directions : 1.   Mix all the ingredients together well.  Store the mixture in a airtight container and its ready for use.  2.  You can use any leave in conditioner / oils / aloe vera juice of your liking.  On her video she used kinky curly knot today leave in conditioner. Nutritive Hair Serum Ingredients : 3 ounces Cold Expeller Pressed Camellia Seed Oil 1 ounce Cold Pressed Virgin Broccoli Seed Oil 1/2 Tsp.Vitamin E Oil 48 Drops Lavender  Essential Oil 24 Drops  Juniper Essential Oil 24 Drops Frankincense Essential Oil 18 Drops Cedarwood Essential Oil Directions : Combine and Stir Ingredients together. Pour into a Clean and Very Dry 4-ounce Bottle. Cap and Label Your Bottle. How to Use: Apply to freshly washed/damp hair from root to end. Gently massage into scalp, leave on for several minutes and wash out with a mild shampoo. Apply a hot towel and/or plastic shower cap after the oil is applied will enhance the treatment. Store bottled oil in a cool  dark area outside of the bathroom. Use within six months. Enjoy!

Rose Water Glycerin Spritz

What You Will Need 1 cup distilled or filtered water 2 tablespoons vegetable glycerin 5-10 drop rose hip seed essential oil 1/4 cup fresh rose petals or 1 tablespoon dried rose petals This is How You Do It! Boil the cup of water and add the rose petals.  Let this steep overnight, then strain out the rose petals and add the glycerin and rose essential oil.  Combine these ingredients in a spray bottle that has been sterilized with rubbing alcohol. Shake and refrigerate.  Optional : Other herbs could substitute for the roses and rose oil.  Such as chamomile teabags, dried or fresh leaf rosemary, lavender buds, other essential oils or evening primrose oil. Enjoy!

What is your natural hair routine?  Has it Changed? Do You Have a Routine at all? Most naturals have gone through the above stages.  First, not having a natural hair routine.   Second, developing a hair routine, and finally, adjusting one's hair routine as hair continues to grow or be styled and cut. This will include first and foremost the changing of what products that you chose to use on your tresses! Naturals who have been on the journey at least six months can attest to the fact that when they did the Big Chop they experienced the first moments of feeling free and uncumbered!  You could simply jump into the shower, co-wash and condition your tresses, dry off from the shower and throw some gel on your hair and be off to the events of the day.  However, when your hair begins to grow and you encounter that "in-between" length, too long to be a TWA and too short to be pulled into even a short pony tail.
